Vanessa: RUN!!!!

They ran up the river. After running for 12 minutes, with nothing happening Sasuke stopped her.

Sasuke: What was that for? Nothing happened.
Vanessa: It was so that we could make up for the time lost while you were sleeping.
Sasuke: scream WHAT!?! YOU SLEPT TOO DIDN’T YOU!?!
Vanessa: Tch, of course…not.
Sasuke: Gosh, you didn’t have to make it sound like there was actually something dangerous out here.
Vanessa: Someone’s here.
Sasuke: Yeah, like I’ll fall for that again. stare
Vanessa: No, I’m serious this time.
Sasuke: Whatever.

Out of nowhere, a kunai flew towards Sasuke’s head. As quick as lightning, Vanessa grabbed Sasuke’s collar and pulled him down.

Vanessa: Believe me now!?

Sasuke and Vanessa ran up the river again. Left and right, someone was throwing a bunch of kunai at them.

Vanessa: There!

Vanessa catches a kunai flying towards Sasuke’s head and throws it back towards the direction it came from. A sound ninja ran out and blocked their path. (The Sound Ninja is a boy…)

Sound Ninja: Sssssasuke…We have come to take you away….
Sasuke: Who are you?!
Sound Ninja: Come Sasuke…
Vanessa: Out of our way or you’ll suffer!
Sound Ninja: Oooo, I’m being threatened by a girl, I’m so afraid.
Vanessa: You better be!

Vanessa started running towards the ninja, but Sasuke held her back.

Vanessa: LET GO OF ME BEFORE I BITE YOUR HEAD OFF!!!
Sasuke: I got this!

Sasuke ran towards the ninja.
Sasuke: SHARINGAN!
Vanessa: SASUKE WAIT! WE’RE CHAINED TOGETHER!!!
Sasuke: TOO LATE! CHIDORI!

Sasuke charged towards the ninja, making Vanessa run after him. True to his words, it was too late. Sasuke striked the Sound Ninja, only to be reflected back.

Sasuke: What? Why didn’t it work?
Sound Ninja: Whatever you do, you can’t kill me….
Vanessa: Oh yeah!
Sasuke: Don’t get involved Vanessa! I don’t want you getting hurt!
Vanessa: I can function perfectly well on my own! I don’t need you’re help! If it weren’t for me you would have been captured already!
Sasuke: Stay out of this!
Vanessa: Sasuke….
Sasuke: WHAT!?!
Vanessa: I’m sorry…
Sasuke: What?

At that precise moment, Sasuke groaned and bent over.

Sasuke: What’s wrong with me? Is it the cursed seal, or is it something else? No, it’s not the seal, it’s more painful than the seal…
Vanessa: I’m sorry…

Vanessa: I’m sorry…

Sasuke faints.

Vanessa: He’s out cold. Now the real fighting can begin. CHIDORI!

Vanessa: IT ENDS HERE!

Vanessa: Hmph! Sasuke, you idiot. What kind of person do you take me for?

Blood stained her clothes. The corpse of the Sound Ninja floated down stream. She took Sasuke and started dragging him upstream.
