A letter to a friend that I probably won't ever see again :[

When you left, a piece of me went with you.
Our friendship was broken.
A quick and sudden SNAP ripped us apart.
Will I ever see you again?
Will you ever decide to return and give back the stolen memories?
You could be gone forever.
If I could see you once more,
I would tell you how sorry I am.
Sorry for hurting you in the past, and now, the present.
Sorry for making you wonder.
Sorry for letting you leave me.
I should have never...
And now, hopeless, I wait for you;
Longing for your return so I could tell you everything bottled up inside myself with no intent of ever breaking free.
I deny differentiating circumstances out of my own embarassment,
When really, I shouldn't be.
But obscurity hides my thoughts,
And ultimately, tries to cover up your friendship.
Of course, it never works.
You will never escape my memory.
Ever.
But for now, goodbye.
I won't ever forget you.
You were a wonderful friend.
Never forgotten.
I'm sorry.
