An idea, sortof.

Part One
My fingers moved quickly across the keyboard, ryhtmic patterns of clicking as word appeared on the screen, halting only for a second as I looked up at the screen to check everything. "Raine, are you done yet?" Knuckles asked me impatiently as he checked out the door again. I stared hard at the keyboard, trying to remember everything Tails had said to do. "Almost..." I mumbled, occupied in thought and fear. "Give me another minute." A tingle flew down my spine as I closed my eyes tightly for a moment and typed in a few more words before the computer screen turned black, then flashed on again, only a bright red color instead of its normal white.
The red echidnas head swung towards me as he saw the light. "Is that a good thing?" He asked, tense. I slammed my fist against the keyboard before repling.
"Heh, of course its not." I felt my heart sink deep into my chest as I knew what was going to happen. "I suggest you get out of here before they show up, Knuckles." For someone in grave danger, I felt surprisingly calm. Knuckles stared hard at me, his purple eyes filled with worry and anger. "I'm not just going to leave you here, Raine!" He yelled out. "We'll get out of here." He was worried, and wanted to get out of this base. His gloved hand griped my arm as he heard footsteps echoing from the metal ground, about a foot or two away from us. He forced me up and dragged me along the floor, as it hit me we were escaping. Knuckles feet moved faster across the ground as I joined him in running, realizing we might escape the base
