When I saw you I fell in love in an instant.
I knew that you'd be mine.
No need for time to think,
You just became mine.
The first night we made love you cried,
I thought that I had hurt you and I did.
I held you in my arms and vowed that I would never hurt you again.
But I did...
I didn't mean it.
None of it!
I was just trying to keep you mine.
I hated any guy who dared look at you,
Smell you,
Smile at you,
Admire you,
Befriend you...
No!
My jealousy got out of hand--
I'll admit that now.
But then I wouldn't.
I'd keep you trapped in this cage I made with my bare hands.
I'd punch every guy who took a second glance at you--
And even though, it scared you--
I couldn't stop.
I had to punch them and yell at you for wearing those tight shirts and tight pants.
I regret going to that play...
That will be a night I'll never forget.
You looked so radiant up on that stage.
You were the best one of all.
But...
I hated the kiss.
When he kissed you,
I could tell he wasn't acting.
He truly fell in love with you and I hated him...
I hated you.
Outside...
I punched him..,
I took out the knife...
