Memento Mori
Remember you are mortal, remember you will die.
From Past to Future (3). Char focus: (Fuji, Tetsuia,Sephira)
Fuji watched as Hika looked on panickedly for Tetsuia, the nervous energy apparant as Hika continued to run farther and farther away. In all honesty, it was hard for Fuji to keep up with him in this state, falling a bit farther and farther behind. However, out of pride, Fuji was not going to tell him to slow down anytime soon. Hopefully, Hika would tire himself out and they would be able to resume walking speed.

Fuji recalled Hika's words of worry while they were just walking, right before he started to rush to his aid, wherever he may be in this desolate world.

Where are you, Tet...

She rubbed the sapphire amulet around her neck, a nervous habit she had always done. A habit that she did not know she had till Hika had picked it up, always asking a sad "What's wrong?" when she puts her hand up to her necklace. Fuji watched the crystal of the amulet shimmer and glow despite the lack of changing light. This amulet was special, it was as if power made into a crystal form. It may not have given her physical strength, but it felt like just touching it gave her both mental and emotional strength.

Fuji's eyes narrowed in concentration, recalling the past, memories that she thought were lost as clear as a bowl of clean water.

The world was still spinning all around her, while the softness of the bed she was laying on felt so good. However, reality snapped. She had been traveling on a dirt path going towards the path to the shrine at Ankara. However, she had been traveling for four days, even though the trip was supposed to be done in two. A twinge of shock appeared on Fuji's face, she was undressed from the top up, she felt oily all around, a stinging pain from her body. Putting two and two together as well as she could, a bed plus being undressed from the top with a loosened bottom..

She had to get out of this place.

Taking off her blanket, Fuji rushed over to her black robes, ceremonial robes for the sacrifice, still intact. However, her weapon was not there and her amulet was gone. She was going to slaughter every single person in this home until she gets it back. Slowly opening the door, she winced as a loud creak emanated from it causing her to jump. However, her heart felt like it jumped out of her chest when...

"Hello!"

A white haired child in some sort of ceremonial gown, quite a bit shorter than her she noted, had a happy, clueless expression. Fuji blinked several times at the thoughts of what they might've done to her and the cute-looking girl right in front of her, apparantly innocent and not knowing the ways of the world. She said, "Now that you're away, my brother would like to speak to you." and with unnatural enthusiasm, "Come and follow me!" and started rushing down a straight flight of stairs. Feeling curious, Fuji followed and blinked at the odd scenery in front of her.

She apparantly was in a tavern setting. There were twelve tables towards the right side of the stairs with a wall on the left side. A black haired boy and a brown haired woman were sitting down, apparantly drinking tea. The boy looked like the same age as she was, with black hair going down to the middle of his spine with casual clothing while the woman with the long brown hair was probably in her twenties, and donned a falchion on her right leg and wearing a blue uniform, the style being of a female marine.

Her feet continued to pull her down the stairs, the door was in front of the stairs, almost making it easy to run away, but it was not an option because of her curiousity and her desire to get what was hers. Turning a complete 180, so her body faced the stairway, the corner of her eyes caught a barstool and inching forward, a bar came into view, various bottles on one side with a mop on the other, while a brown door was on the right wall of the bar. The girl soon made her way towards the other two that were sitting down and pointed towards Fuji, making them alerted to her presence.

The black haired boy spoke first, going past the awkward silence that ensued the environment. "Would you like something to drink?" He then sipped some of the tea like some sort of sophisticated gentlemen...one of her pet peeves. However, Fuji, swallowing her pride, said, "No thanks.." The boy apparantly had some sort of aminosity towards her as well, the feeling apparantly mutual. The brown haired girl, sensing this animosity, had rushed to say, "So, stranger. Would you do me an honor by giving me your name?"

Fuji, blinking at the style of speech, had slightly stuttered saying, "Fujitari Shirinai...would you do me tthe honor of yours? The girl smiled and apprantly sensed her unease for she said, "Don't be frightened...my job entails me to speak like this...it's an odd job. The black haired boy commented, "Indeed.", with a slight glare coming from the brown haired girl. The girl continued on saying, "I'm Sephira...and this disagreeable one would be Tetsuia. The boy who brought you here would be Hika...

Fuji did a double take, looking at the white haired child again. Sephira had made almost a small restrained giggle, whispering to her as Hika made himself back up to his room for prayers. "I thought the same exact thing when I met him.." Fuji blinked at this admisson and laughed, watching Tetsuia who had just looked indifferent in these events.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Her thoughts were broken, the yelling of Hika shattering the stillness with a yell.

"Fuji, for Fate-san's sake! Hurry up! We need to find Tet..!

Fuji, rushing back to catch up to the running Hika, had to stifle a laugh despite this serious situation. Memories were always so fun to reminisce, but she will push her memory later.
