The Bible says that you are "the light that gives light to the world". The Bible also says that you should live in a way that lets other people understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
What kind of light have you been giving off? Hopefully, you've been a good example for everybody to see. Why? Because the world needs all the light it can get, and that includes your light, too!
The old familiar hymn begins, "What a friend we have in Jesus..." No true words were ever penned. Jesus is the sovereign friend and the ultimate savior of mankind. Christ showed enduring love for you by willingly sacrificing His own life so that you might have eternal life. As a response to His sacrifice, you should love Him, praise Him, and share His message of salvation with your neighbors and with the world.
Do you seek to be an extreme follower of Christ? Then you must let your light shine... Today and every day. When you do, He will bless you now and forever.
Thoughts For Today.
His life is our light--Our purpose and meaning and reason for living.
You have to look for the joy. Look for the light of God that is hitting your life, and you will find sparkles you didn't know were there.
A Tip For Today.
Your Story Is Important: D.L Moody, the famed evangelist from Chicago, said, "Remember, a small light will do a great deal when it is in a very dark place. Put one little tallow candle in the middle of a large hall, and it will give a great deal of light." Make certain that your candle is always lit. Give your testimony, and trust God to do the rest.

Lord, Your Holy Word is a light unto the world; Let me study it, trust it, and share it with all who cross my path. Amen.
