"Damnit... Old Man is there another entrance to this place?!" Old Man looked far off towards a faint light. "Looks like they made one.... I made this room.... Case somethin like this happened... But I never made another opening... Them Deddo aint so dumb after all.... and Damnit stop calling me Old Man!! My name is Cid..." Gale smirked. "Fine... Old man Cid..." "Kid if that girl wasnt attached to ya youd be dead..." Gale laughed. "Okay okay... Ill call ya Cid..." Miko picked up the little girl. "Hey.. we are gonna save your mom. I promise." The little girl looked up and smiled. "Thank you...." They climbed back up into the forge room. "Cid.... you think we can make this thing work long enough for me to make Ellie and the little girl a weapon?" Cid looked at him as if he were stupid. "Whats that little girl gonna do with a weapon? She cant fight." Gale sighed. "Itll make me feel better if she has a dagger with her okay?" Cid laughed. "Yeah yeah... between the two of us I think we can make it work." Gale and Cid started gathering up coal and piling it into the half destroyed forge. After a while they had the forge going and Gale went to work. Once he had finished he looked over the dagger. Its blade had become silver and was engraved with tribal like spirals which spread across the entire blade. The guard was a four pointed star. Each point had small spikes coming off of it. "Kid... if for some reason any Deddo or anything threatening comes near you... Drive this into them. I promise Ill come running if you do." Gale looked at Ellie. "Heh here......" He held out a scimitar. It was much larger than normal but was very light weight. From point to guard a trail of red gems spread across it. The guard itself had two of the gems embedded in each of the ends. "You really think I can hold that thing?" Gale laughed. "Just take it and trust me..." She reached out and grabbed the handle. "Whoa... its really light..." She swung it a few times. "But.. Im still not a great fighter.." Gale sighed. "Old man.. How bout I make you some new weapons while you spar with Ellie... Teach her how to use that sword... But go easy on her okay?" Cid pushed him. "Oh sorry... its a habit.... Cid...." Cid nodded. "Make me a nice spear. I never did like swords much.. Theres a great shaft you can use in the corner." Gale took the shaft and started work on the rest of it.
