Gale sat Sophie down next to the door. "Who is he......?" Cid sighed. "Don't tell me you forgot br--" Gale shot past them all and kicked Xin in the gut. "b*****d... how dare you show up here after you abandoned us." Xin flew back into the street and landed on his back. "I guess you are mad...." Gale began to walk toward him but Cid held him back. "You should have been there! We lost Koujin and Miko!! You should have been there to help damnit!!" Xin sighed. "I had my own matters to attend to...." Gale broke loose and kicked him again. "What you mean chasing that damn girl around for all these years just so you could go and whine when she escaped you!?" Xin flew a few feet back. "Gale... Would you stop doing that....." Gale started back toward him but Cid and Ellie grabbed him. "b*****d! Get out of my sight!" Xin stood slowly and brushed himself off. "I can't.... I need your help..." Gale spit at him. "Dont make me laugh.... I refuse to help you." Xin sighed. "Well then what about the rest of you?" Ellie shook her head. Cid laughed. "Sorry... but I won't work unless Gale does...." Sophie walked up to Gale and Cid. "I'll go with what Gale decides as well." Xin sighed again. "Fine....." Everyone other than Xin turned and went inside. Sophie waited by the desk as the others put up their weapons and came back. "So did you guys finish?" Cid shook his head. "No... we had some trouble...." Gale sighed. "So did we... Our first mark was an ambush....." Cid sighed. "Seems kinda like ours was as well...." Gale yawned. "Everyone get some sleep....." Cid and Ellie yawned and went off to their rooms. "Thanks... for saving me back there....." She kissed him on the cheek and walked off to bed. He paused for a minute and smiled after she was out of the room. "Heh... Guess this isn't so bad..." Gale yawned and went off to his room.
Zane had been watching their encounter with Xin. After the others were inside he approached him. "What kind of help do you need....?" Xin smiled. "Hmmm so you aren't as hot headed as Gale eh?" Zane punched him in the face. "Shut up and explain....." Xin spit out blood and sighed. "Guess you are... I need help with a Demon......" Zane laughed. "You're that weak?" Xin sighed. "I can't harm her...." Zane sighed and knew what he meant. "She is after you though.... right?" Xin nodded. "Yeah..." Zane kicked him. "Idiot!! There is a little child in this house! Stop being so damn selfish!" Zane kicked him further down the street. Xin slowly got back up. "What ever....." Gale walked up to Zane wearing a blood red scarf over his face. "If we are going to work as a team...... as brothers..... Then you'll need this Zane......" Zane pushed back the hood of his cloak. "How'd you know?!" Gale laughed. "Your voice.... idiot..." Gale handed him a pure white scarf. "Wear it..." Xin laughed. "Just like old times eh?" Gale put on a pair of gloves with spikes wrapped over the knuckles. He looked to his feet and looked over his steel toed boots. "Zane... still have your gloves?" Zane nodded and slid his on. The three set out and headed into the forest.
