Cid stepped forward. "But out of all of us.... Im the one without the glow..." The ghostly figure moved toward them. "Ahh the glow.... You see... the alignment does cause that aura.... but anyone in your family that was born past Gale's father can use that. The real alignment is the ability to do what Sophie has done." They all looked at her. "What?!" The figure laughed a little. "You see back in the forest you controled your alignment and focused it into an attack. Light purifies all things evil.... And normal Demons cannot live if touched by the light." Cid sighed. "So then... if the families mixed... what alignment did Gale and I get?" "Hmmm Sophie has the Light.... Xin obtained Darkness...... Yet the combine families make it hard to tell who has Twilight and Azure." Gale and Cid looked at each other and then looked back at the figure. "How about a way to test it?" The ghostly figure nodded. "Gale... if I am correct then you will need these." He handed Gale two pistols, one black and one white. "Pistols? Ive never fired a gun in my life.. They were outlawed years ago.... All of them were tracked down and destroyed....." The figure laughed. "Aim at that beast there. Wait for the words to appear in your mind.... Speak them and do as the voice commands." Gale nodded and aimed at the beast. It stumbled backward and froze up. Gale waited for a moment before the words came to his head. "Twilight Barrage!!" Gale unloaded on the beast. Each bullet was a bright gold ball of energy with streaks of red and black running through it. Gale kept firing long after the bullets should have run out. When he finally stopped the beast was a pool of blood and clumps of flesh. "Whoa......" "It will be hard to control them without these jewels.... but you must train without them as well. They may not always be in your possession...." Gale nodded as the figure handed his a golden jewel that was shaped like a cresent moon. He turned to Sophie and handed her a clear jewel that was shaped like a small heart with angel wings. He gave Xin a black jewel shaped like a crown and finally turned to Cid. "You are the Azure, Cid.... Your importance will make itself known soon." Cid nodded as the figure handed him a blue and silver jewel shaped like a opened book. "Each jewel represents the Celestial Beast it came from. Gaenaal was a Guardian... but he was a Fallen Angel... It was on the night of a cresent moon that he was forced from the heavens and fell to this world. Maiana was an Angel that soared freely threw the skys and served no one.... yet she met someone who she began to love and...." The figure paused and shook his head. "Harook was a master of all blades when ever a knew type of sword was created he made sure he was first to master it. Zalient.... He rarely spoke.... Yet when he did the world grew silent. He was a reaper of souls.... and carried around a large book that only held names of powerful souls that would benefit Zalient if they were taken." They nodded. "What about me and Xin? What can we do?" The figure laughed. Cid began to hear words ring through his mind. Xin nodded at him and they turned to each other. Cid sighed. "Azure Swift!!" Cid disappeared for a moment. Xin jumped back. "Dark Chaos!!" Cid appeared in front of Xin moving faster than Xin could react. Cid hit Xin hit the gut but Xin's hands fired off a beam of dark energy that aimed straight for Sophie. Gale jumped in the way and held his guns out. "Twilight Roulette!" Gale fired two beams from his guns. They twisted around each other and struck Xin's beam. The attacks canceled out and Cid laughed. "So the kid can hear two of them?" The ghostly figure smiled. "Just as Gaenaal.... There are several abilities you will learn with training. Each more powerful that the last." They all nodded and appeared back in the clearing.
