Ellie and Miko backed up slowly. "What about you?!" "We will be fine. Just go!" Gale and Koujin ran at the giant Deddo. Zane looked back to Ellie. "Don't worry. We can handle this." He and Cid charged off as well. Keiko sighed and strung her bow. "Here we go..." She shot an arrow for the beasts eye but it simple vanished. "What?!" Koujin lunged forward and stabbed the Deddo's leg. His halberd melted into the Deddo's body. "Wha..." Gale jumped and sliced at the Deddo's face but his swords faded as well. "Damn... Zane try your scythe!" Zane spun the scythe in the air as he jumped above the beasts head. He brought the scythe down on it. The beast split in half but quickly reformed. "Well... we know the technique saves our weapons...." The giant Deddo stomped the ground causing it to crumble. The earth caved in and Gale, Koujin, Cid, and Zane all fell below along with the Deddo. Ellie ran to the large opening in the ground. "GALE! ... ZANE! ... KOUJIN!" The sound of the giant Deddo hitting the bottom echoed all the way back up to her.
