Ellie, Sophie, and Lenn were waiting for them at the door. "Where have you been?!" Cid sighed. "Lenn.... not now.... I'm tired..." Lenn glared at him. "We have been worried!" Gale raised an eyebrow. "WE? You mean you two were worried as well?" Sophie sighed. "Ofcourse we were worried... you were there longer than you normally are.... I was scared the people might have tried to kick you out of town...." Gale laughed and pointed to Cid's back as he walked past them all and went inside. Cid held his black and red hammers out in front of them. Ellie nearly attacked him. "I'VE BEEN SPARING WITH HIM FOREVER!! YET YOU SPENT ONE DAY WITH HIM AND YOU GET A DEMON WEAPON?!?!!" Cid looked down. "Sorry?!" Ellie laughed and hugged him. "Now I can spar with you instead.... He doesn't go easy on me...." Cid laughed and they walked in. Sophie followed Gale to the store room. "Gale... whats wrong with you?" Gale sat his swords in the corner. "What do you mean......" She walked around and looked him in the eyes. "Why are you so distant from me....." Gale sighed. "Cid must have explained it..... I just.... don't like to show my feelings.... Its much easier to hide them away...." Sophie sighed and walked out. Gale turned to say something but he stopped himself and just sighed. "Sorry....."
Cid and Ellie had found Xoutan and were watching him roam around the house. Lenn had come inside and gone to her room. Hanna was cheerly walking around the house in search of Xoutan who she seemed to only miss by seconds everytime she walked into a room.
Sophie and Gale sat in their seperate rooms and stared at the walls. Gale began to wonder if he should really stop hiding all his emotions and be like he was when he was younger.
