My tear drops fall,
on forbidden lines,
and I stand straight and tall,
as I cope with all the lies.
I wonder hopelessly through the streets,
filled with Autumn leaves,
I have shown all signs of retreat,
and yet im stuck on these stormy seas.
My tear drops fled,
to a river in my mind,
they flooded my head,
you and me now intwined.
Cautiously walk upon the shadows,
that the moon has cast away,
I wonder if all of those,
saddened thoughts will go away.
Making happieness evanescent,
is your greatest skill,
make my glorious little present,
a soul without a fill.
Heart shatters in the pressure,
of the cold and dark abyss,
there are no tools to measure,
the length of what I miss.
Crying softly in the darkness,
No one needs to see your face,
and i really need to mark this,
as the biggest mistake to erase.
Don't become the fool of insanity,
for that would be my job you'd replace,
I need the angels of Christianity,
to give me the shoes for the lace,
for these boots ain't made for walking,
they aren't even in display,
they ain't made for talking,
not even in L.A.
These boots were made for standing,
in an unpredictable sort of crowd,
but they are not meant for handling,
such a person who is not loud.
I am shy and weak in fear,
that my life will some how disturb,
just the same as every year,
that has been so ubsurd.
Have you ever stepped in a puddle,
that you didn't know what was?
it was probably from all the trouble,
that was made, "just because".
I said to you yesterday,
that you could never be undone,
but you kept searching for another way,
to make me have no fun.
Then you opened the door,
and let my river of tears fall out,
they came rushing out onto the floor,
which made you scream and shout.
I spilled the beans,
and told my sad story,
but I had good means,
for who else had any glory?
Not me,
not you,
Can't see,
what to do.
Your lies have created superglue,
to seal my eyes from life,
but now that it has gone through,
I no longer need the strife.
I'll ask once more,
can you fix me?
I crash to the floor,
and never do you see me.
