If I could only hold your hand,
sighing high above the trees,
fliying off to never land,
where love is the only disease,
rolling happily through the meadows,
climbing mountains oh so tall,
never cast into the shadows,
It would be worth it all,
make your heart believe the true word,
that my love is never fake,
over all these years I have learned,
no stress is too hard to take,
put away my loaded gun,
throw the knife straight out the door,
my reel of hatred has spun,
suicidal thoughts no more,
just knowing that you love me,
no other hold so pure,
trying so hard to break free,
what of, I'm not quite sure,
promise you'll never lie to me,

and please try to love me,

sawying branches in the tree tops,
