She sits there,
unseen, unheard,
it doesn't seem fair,
that she wont utter a word.
She sits there,
in the shadows colored red,
she needs to find somewhere,
she can rest her totured head.
I watch her from the inside,
the addiction growing stronger,
she tries to hide,
but cannot hold on much longer.
Her mental abuse,
strengthening each day,
the illegal drug use,
all I'm able to do is pray.
I sit here,
in the shadows colored red,
I need to find somewhere,
to rest my tortured head.
I speak to you,
but you won't hear my screams,
Lieing makes the glue,
that seals the nasty dreams.
Not able to rid of pictures,
my mind is slowing down,
can't rid of all the pictures,
some day I must fall down.
I speak to you,
but you remain your speechless protest,
I scream to you,
wanting your shoulder as a head rest.
She sits there,
unseen, unheard,
she sits there,
broken like a flightless bird.
