Ellie and Miko had been walking through the forest during that battle. They were nearly half way before a group of Deddo appeared before them. Miko and Ellie raised their swords and charged at them. While they were distracted another Deddo came up behind them and took the little girl. By the time Gale's group had finished their battle the little girl was far away from the town. She started to cry and remembered what Gale had said.
-Flashback- "If for some reason any Deddo or anything threatening comes near you... Drive this into them. I promise Ill come running if you do."
The little girl remembered those words and stabbed the Deddo in its left shoulder. It lost control of its leg and tripped. It rolled a few times then slide to a stop. It had let the little girl go and she was now trying to run away but soon the Deddo was standing again and it started to run at her. As it go close she screamed. "GAALLLE HELP ME!!!" She closed her eyes. Yet all she heard was the sound of a sword being hit by claws. "Gale?! You came!" Gale stood their holding his swords up blocking the claw of the Deddo. "Didnt I tell you... All you had to do was stab him... you knew Id come help you." Gale knocked the Deddo back and cut it in two. He sheathed his swords and picked her up. "Comon the others are waiting for us." He ran back towards the mountain.
