Gale met up with Keiko and Cid was few yards away from where he had saved the little girl. Keiko took the little girl and went ahead to find Miko and Ellie. Cid stayed back with Gale. "Kid... you do know where they are right?" Gale pointed to the peak of the mountain. "Ive seen this group before.... they kill everyone in sight... Most Deddo only kill a few so they can come back later to have more fun....." Cid sighed. "I was hoping it wouldnt be them...." Gale agreed. "Well it is... and its up to me, you and Keiko to get that girls mother back... They must want one of us..... If they left her alive...." Cid looked up. "Its gettin late kid.... Lets go find those four..." Gale looked down the path Keiko took. "Yeah lets go..." They walked in the direction Keiko had gone with the little girl.
Keiko had met up with the sisters just in time to get caught in the ambush the Deddo had prepared. "Miko.... I dunno if we can handle all of these... there must be atleast one hundred Deddo here...." Miko looked around almost scared. "We... We can do this... We have to hold off atleast until Gale and Cid get here to help." Keiko sat the girl down. "Dont seperate... Stay near the girl... She must be why they keep coming." Keiko strung her bow once more and grabbed an arrow. Ellie and Miko stood on opposite sides of Keiko. "You think we can do this?" Keiko and Ellie nodded. The Deddo started charging in at them in small groups. Ellie and Miko moved up a few feet to have room to fight. Ellie started cutting them in pieces as they charged towards Keiko. Miko focused on simply cutting their heads off. Keiko picked off what ever got past them with her arrows. Soon the three girls were getting tired and it didnt look like they were making much progress. "I think.... there are more coming in... as we cut them down...." Ellie was out of breath. Miko was leaning on her sword and Keiko had dropped to one knee. "We cant keep this up... Where are Gale and Cid?!" A figure can shooting at the crowd of Deddo scattering the ones that lived. The figure stood up. "I dont know where Gale is.... but knowing him... he will be pissed that I took his dramatic entrance to this fight... Oh.. and you can call me Koujin... and Im your reinforcements...." He held a halberd in his hands. "I think maybe you three should rest for now.. Ill take care of this...." The Deddo changed their target to Koujin and quickly began to jump at him. He laughed and began to rapidly stab the ones coming down on him. Each stab sent the Deddo soaring across the forest. "He... he...." Keiko looked at Ellie who couldnt speak. "Whats wrong Ellie?" She snapped out of her trance. "He is... Gale's brother...." Keiko seemed confused. "Isnt he your brother too?" "Well they are both adopted.... Our parents took them in long ago... Koujin and Gale are blood brothers.... Our father never wanted to bring them in... He hated them..." "Thats why me and Koujin ran away so many times...." The three girls spun around to see Gale and Cid. "After the girls were kidnapped and our parents killed... We decided to split up and find them. Our old house would be our meeting place at the end of this year." Gale walked by them swords drawn. "Cid... stay back..." Cid nodded. "Hey kid.. Dont make me have to come rescue you." Gale laughed. "Hey Koujin... Little bro... Ill get you for stealin my dramatic entrance!!" Gale jumped over the Deddo and landed next to Koujin. "But first... Our usual competition...." Koujin smiled as he moved to stand back to back with Gale. "you're on."
