The snake turned to ash and Gale went to the house to talk to the old man. He knocked on the door and after a few minutes the old man came to the door. "Is..is it gone?" Gale laughed. "Well for the most part..... Its a pile of ash right now...... The wind will take care of that though...." The old man nodded and handed Gale an envelope. "Your payment." Gale nodded and with Cid and Sophie headed back towards town. "Hmmm the old man pays well...." Gale counted the money. "Heh no need in even collecting money for the rest of the week....." Cid glared at him. "We are still going to collect though.... right?" Gale nodded. "Ofcourse.... Can't just have enough to live off of..... That'd be boring...." Sophie shook her head. "You boys are so greedy...." Gale sighed. "We live with three women.... Money gets spent very fast...." Sophie laughed. "Well it'll be four soon.." Cid shook his head. "No way. Just cause you are in love with this runt don't mean you can come and live with us...." Gale punched him. "He is right.... about the not living with us part...." Sophie sighed. "Why not?" "You have a family don't you?" She looked away. "They want to kick me out..." Cid sighed and whispered to Gale. "Can we turn her down if they are really gonna make her leave?" Gale sighed. "I guess not...." "Whatcha talking about?" Gale looked over at her. "Fine... you can stay with us.... but you have to earn your place there.... And I don't mean by handling our marks..." They reached the town and went straight to the house. Ellie was waiting for Gale there. "She is looking for you two...." "Damn...."
